Gordy's Hill Day Ride
This will be a MODERATE/ HARD trail ride in Gordy's Hill area. Down near Socorro, NM, off of I-25. 1 1/2 hour drive from Albuquerque area.
Meet at 8:45 am, leave at 9 AM, Back to pavement by 4 pm.
Trails : Hidden Valley, Granite Canyon, Lower Amado, Coyote Canyon, Upper Amado, Bad Hair day, if time permits.
Some Hard sections, with bypasses, most of the time!!. 33 or larger inch tires recommended. Recovery points front and back.Have recovery straps handy. Lockers will be helpful. Scratches possible. We can spot drivers in sections.Canyons with rocks, Steep hill climbs. Good off road tires.
We will meet and air down at Lemitar Truck Stop, then drive to Gordy's Hill area. Trailered rigs can park at the truck stop, parking in rear parking lot. Air down at truck stop.
Dress for Winter weather. Bring water and snacks.
