Let's go on a ride away from the typical because riding the same old routes never gets old - right?

 Participant Responsibility Notice

New Mexico 4-Wheelers guests and members will be meeting for a group activity as indicated below. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of their own vehicles and should evaluate obstacles based on their own comfort and experience level and vehicle capability.

This is a volunteer recreational activity. Participants are responsible for their own safety, vehicle operation, and compliance with land-use rules.

Time to lead a ride outside of Jemez and Gordy's ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cliff led a ride in August 2023 that was one of my very first with the club and I have been itching to return to explore the area.

Mosey on down to the by the 9:30am meet time (34.64623, -106.3452), air down and take off by 10:00am,  All day ride expected but I'm wanting to hit the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument before the 5:00pm closing time so we can explore.

I am estimating this to be a 4 cigar rated ride but standard WLWJT prototols in place...

Take a gander at the Recovering More Than a Trailer gallery to get some insight as to the area we are going to visit.  Also, it looks like moisture is somewhat likely so be aware.  There are many areas for standing water and mud, as well as the most technical area being down in an arroyo where the rain will collect and run out.

You longer wheelbase vehicles - have no fear! I was able to get a Raptor and car hauler in and out of the most technical part of the ridet so you'll do well.

Rig recommendations:

Bring lunch, chairs, plenty of water, and snacks.  As always with my rides, all family members are encouraged to attend and enjoy the scenery.
