11 4x4's drove into Gordy's Hill area with snow on the ground. No Dust. We drove through the busy Coyote Canyon trail. Tight, rocky, and we had to concentrate on every turn. I trimmed back some tree limbs. I would rate this a 5 level, if you take the bypasses, If someone drives the tough sections, a 6, level.
Next we drove over to the upper part of Upper Amado, driving it down the canyon. Had lunch near the top. We passed another 4x4 group, They were having fun. The trail leader said their club was called BS 4x4's, I believe. LOL.
Jeff got stuck trying to climb out of a wash. New scratches on his skid plates!! Hooked up his winch to Dan's front bumper and got out.
Grant, a friend of mine who joined us in his Toyota buggy, broke off his valve stem. But we inserted a new one he was back running. Dan needed a strap to get up a steep rocky climb, and Ric Henry pulled him up. I saw some great driving by everyone today. We checked out the new Kiosk, before driving back to the truck stop. Aired up and smiled all the way home. A good day. More trails to try next time.
