Doug Elkins went down to Alamogordo with me for a co-club adventure with two rigs from the Desert Mountain 4WDC. Brian (DM Pres.) & Mike (DM Treas.) took us out to play east of Alamogordo. In the morning, we ran Baby Rattler, a tight and technical L7 on slab rock, shale, and sandstone and mostly in the bottoms between hills. In the afternoon, we ran Sidewinder, a fun L6 running through a wet and sandy wash with loads of baby ledges built into staircases and a couple of larger ledges. We finished the day wandering the mesas exploring the desert. The terrain gave us fresh challenges from what we're used to at home. The scenery was off the charts. Best of all - we came home with fabulous new friends in our New Mexico 4WD community!
Here's the video Brian put together, you'll find it on the DM4WDC YouTube page.
Happy Trails!

ps. I got so busy having fun, I completely gave up trying to take pictures or videos. Folks will have to come run these trails with us next time and see the fun for yourself!
